Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk was featured in many commercials as a young child. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism the couple renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May in 2016. Silk is known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to the set of the show. Her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its prominence on social media has grown to a huge internet following.
